New generation of small mechanical seals
Griploc is a new generation of robust mechanical seals. To facilitate mounting, the new Flygt seals feature one uniform mounting procedure, and each seal comes with a disposable easy-to-use mounting tool. Fewer versions can also reduce spare part inventory.

The new range of 20-35 mm seals are based on the needs and cumulated experience of our customers around the world. To ensure outstanding performance, durability and operational efficiency, they are all developed and manufactured in-house. Ultimately, the result is lower maintenance costs for our customers.

Uniform design enables fast, precise installation
The Uniform design results in the same mounting procedure for all seals. The solid seal rings and clog-resistant design contribute to consistent performance with low leakage, high reliability and prolonged seal life. A patented lock spring is tightened around the shaft, providing axial fixation and torque transmission. This eliminates the need for grub screws, and prevent damage to the shaft.

High performance in high temperatures
The Flygt seals have high temperature performance, greatly reducing the problem of dry running failure. And what is more, in most seals high temperatures can make the seal surface slightly convex, which reduces the sealing effect. Consequently, Flygt seals are built with a slight concavicity; once the pumps are running and the seals are warmed up, they become perfectly flat.
