Flygt original spare parts are made for the job. High quality parts that are made to match are essential for a successful operation.
Stator
Stator windings are insulated to Class F - rated at 155°C and Class H - rated at 180°C, allowing for up to 15 starts per hour. Heat-shrink fitted, the stator is locked against rotation, without the need for external locking bolts that can be a cause of leakage.
Bearings
The bearing arrangement is based on a proprietary design: the upper set consists of roller- or ball-bearings and counteracts radial forces; the lower set comprises double angular-contact ball bearings and counteracts both radial and axial forces.
Bearing Grease
It is essential to select grease that provides an oil film with sufficient load carrying capacity between rolling elements and raceways under operational conditions.
Set of O-Rings
Specifying nitrile or fluorinated rubber compounds, the sealing properties of Flygt O-Rings will not be impaired by extremes of temperature. Be prepared for any eventuality and order a complete set.
Plug-in Seals
The most critical component in any submersible product is the sealing system. To ensure that the seals meet the demands, Flygt designs and manufactures its own seals in-house, developed solely for Flygt submersible pumps and mixers.
Impellers
Flygt pumps can be equipped with a variety of impellers, intended for different applications. They come in different designs and materials. All are dynamically balanced and are perfected for optimal performance.
Nuts and Bolts
Stainless steel in all screws, nuts and washers that are exposed to the surrounding liquid, even in the smallest pumps.
Wear Parts
All materials are selected to meet demanding performance criteria. Wear part linings are securely bonded to metal parts.
Cable and Cable Entry
Designed by Flygt for submersible applications, SUBCAB offers improved mechanical properties and low water absorption. New tight-fitting sleeves eliminate leakage.
