We are presently looking for a qualified individual to fill the position of Supervisor, Technical Sales Support at our Pointe-Claire, QC sales location.
In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the productive and efficient operation of the technical sales support to customers for the Sales Location. While supervising the inside sales staff, you will coordinate all internal sales activities and quotations in order to assist the Sales Representatives in their pre-sales engineering work on projects with consulting engineers as well as all customers to end users.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Director (Quebec), your specific responsibilities will include:
| Be responsible for efficient operation of sales support functions; work distribution, management of direct reports, control costs and profitability of sales revenues; | | | | | Assist the Sales Representatives in their pre-sale engineering work on projects with consulting engineers; interpret written specifications from tender document; prepare and follow up quotations; negotiate and award orders; | | | | | Manage all deadlines, business growth through improved customer support and strategic selling; | | | | | Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection, technical support, specifications, applications and control panels; | | | | | Follow up with customers on their orders and coordinate the revival of projects; | | | | | Be the first line supervisor for direct reports and assume all human resources functions including performance evaluation and salary reviews; evaluation of training needs, action plan and vacation planner control to ensure proper operations of the Sales Location; | | | | | Value Based Six Sigma (VBSS) is an integral part of our Company culture. The incumbent will play an important role for the continuous process improvement by using VBSS tools and resources. |

Engineer graduate, recognized in Canada (mechanic, or electrical), you have at least four (4) to six (6) years of relevant sales experience in a computerized environment. Knowledge of automation, telemetry, hydraulic and pumps is a must as for basic water treatment processes. You are a team worker with strong organizational, leadership, communication (English and French, oral & written), and interpersonal skills. Finally, if the selected individual is not a Green Belt certified, he/she will be expected to successfully complete the ITT VBSS Program.
