Design Engineer - Pointe-Claire, QC

We are presently looking for a qualified and bilingual individual to fill the position of Design Engineer at our Head Office in Pointe-Claire, QC.

Reporting to the Manager, Technical & Service, the major challenges are:

Design monitoring and control systems (PLC, VFD and controllers programming, drawings, manuals, etc) based on customer specifications and established standards; panel test witness and quality verification.

Develop and implement new monitoring & control products following the market needs.

Create, develop and provide specific training programs to be given to service personnel and customer operations.

Value Based Lean Six Sigma (VBLSS) is an integral part of our Company culture. The incumbent will play an important role for the continuous process improvement by using VBLSS tools and resources.

Any other work delegated by the supervisor.

You have 2 to 4 years of successful experience of PLC programming along with experience with electrical machinery (motor/generator) control system design and testing. You have earned an electrical engineering bachelor degree and must be able to work independently with minimum supervision but also be a team player. Finally, being a certified Green Belt is an asset.
