Applications Engineer – Treatment - Pointe-Claire,QC

We are presently looking for a qualified individual to fill the position of Applications Engineer – W&WW Treatment Customer Service & Quality - Head Office, Pointe-Claire, QC.

Reporting to the Customer Service and Quality Manager, the incumbent will be responsible to provide sales support through technical solutions, cost estimates, recommendations and training to our third-party Canadian Sales Representatives and our WWW sales force, customers and branch managers on WWW treatment products and applications.

Major challenges will be:

Provide, under guidance of the Regional Manager – WWW Treatment, quality technical and marketing support to independent Sales Representatives to enable them to successfully sell the company products in the assigned territory.

Ensure the Sales Representatives successfully select product applications for WWW treatment.

Provide training resources for Sales Representatives and WWW staff for products and applications related to water and waste water treatment.

Perform other duties as may be assigned including job site visits for equipment check-out and to resolve commercial and technical issues.

Value Based Lean Six Sigma (VBLSS) is an integral part of our Company culture. The incumbent will play an important role for the continuous process improvement by using VBLSS tools and resources.

The candidate will be bilingual (English and French), and possess a university degree in engineering. He has achieved at least 2 years of WWW treatment technology experience in a similar function. The incumbent must also have ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications and be able to provide guidance to internal and external clients on products selection based on application data, calculation and technical analysis. Experience on pumps and mixers is also an asset.
